Judy Shanley, Reiki Master/Teacher

Judy began her studies and practice in Reiki in 1997, and has been teaching Reiki since 2003. Originally from Austalia Judy has a deep love for nature and the outdoors, and the sense of peace and connectedness one finds there. Through Reiki Judy has discovered the same sense of peace and belonging she long ago found in nature and often combines the two in her teachings.

Judy works and teaches at an intuitive level, and from a place of integrity. Her gentle teachings are guided by spirit and inspire a sense of empowerment, strengthening of one's vitality, and discovery of one's potential.

Judy believes in the transformative process of immersing her students in the essence of Reiki. Her workshops are delivered experientially.

Judy's Reiki studies include Usui Reiki from the late Christopher Humble; Karuna Reiki from Michele Denay; Usui Reiki Ryoho from Frans Stiene. Other studies include Taoism, Shamanism, Chi Kung, Buddhism from Carlos de Leon; yoga; and Recreation Programming.

Judy is a member of Westcoast Reiki Centre in Vancouver, and a student of the International House of Reiki in Sydney, Australia. Judy resides in Roberts Creek.

We offer Reiki and soul adventures for women who are looking for wellness, personal growth and passion in life. Whether you are inspired to learn Reiki, or complementary healing practices; to participate in inner activities of meditation and yoga; or explore through outdoor adventures of walking, hiking, kayaking, canoeing or snowshoeing; our programs are for you.

Join us for a unique experience with other like-minded women; learn new skills and explore new possibilities in a supportive and collaborative environment, and return home feeling renewed, rejuvenated and with a new perspective on life.

Our Workshops and Retreats:

Our unique workshops and retreats take place in the Vancouver and Sunshine Coast areas of British Columbia, and are designed for inspiring self-discovery through spirit and nature based adventures. All programs offer relationship building with the self and others, and are delivered in a community-building process. We specialize in exploring our inner and outer worlds through heart centered and fun activities, delivered indoor and out.

All retreats take place in beautiful locations immersed in nature. We believe nature offers us opportunity to connect with self, and through this connection we find spirit. We believe all healing flows from a connection with spirit, here one finds a balance in life leading to inner joy, strength, health, vitality and one's purpose in life.

Each retreat is unique, is centered around a special theme and honors the feminine spirit. Working in spirit through Reiki, practicing yoga, meditating in nature, hiking among the trees, supporting other women and moving through personal challenges all bring new perspectives and a freshness to our lives.

Hridaya Wellness Inc. clients are women inspired to grow beyond their present realities and who are ready to be challenged in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Our clients are women from all walks of life who are looking for new experiences within the feminine principles of nurturing, sustaining, healing and restoring the body and soul. Our programs are inclusive for all and appeal to women as individuals or groups.

Meaning of Hridaya:

Hridaya is a Sanskrit word for heart, and is translated as the Seat of Pure Consciousness, or spiritual centre of the body, that exists on the right side of the heart.
